The Tiber Construction group was established in 1951by Paolo Rivera, and Celebrates its 70th Anniversary this Year 2021. Tiber Construction has evolved into a highly reputable and respected leader in the private property and construction sector.

We operate a formal Safety and Loss Control programme, with periodic independent inspections, on all our building sites, as well
as at our Village Deep Plant and Equipment Yard.

The Solidarity Fund
This Fund has created a platform for all South Africans, from the public and private sectors, civil society as well as the general public to contribute to one consolidated effort to assist the Government in its efforts to flatten the curve of the spread of the pandemic. We are pleased to announce that Tiber Construction made a contribution to the Solidarity Fund in April 2020 to assist the Fund in its work.

Ohlhorst Lightweight Building Solutions MODULAR Frame System combines lightweight materials and the modular building method. Modular building makes use of prefabricated sections that are manufactured offsite and then transported to the construction site for assembly.
Because MODULAR frames are built offsite, the system offers numerous benefits when compared to traditional on-site construction.

Plant and Equipment
Tiber Construction owns, operates and maintains a substantial amount of major plant and equipment, enhancing its ability to service all types of contracts in an effective and cost efficient manner.
Village Deep Yard:
Our world class facility in Village Deep incorporates a secure 15,000sqm covered area equipped with overhead cranes to facilitate the efficient storing, handling, maintaining, and transportation of our plant and equipment.
Our computerised stock control system provides us with live reporting on the status of each stock item enabling very accurate planning and scheduling of our plant and equipment.
Our Village Deep facility incorporates a 600sqm office building which is used to support Enterprise Development in the Construction industry.
Both our Plant and vehicle fleet stored at Village deep is owned by our Group and we have an experienced management team who maintain and manage these assets ensuring that they are always in the best of condition thereby strengthening our competitive edge.
The Tiber Construction’s Village Deep Yard has placed within the top 3 in the National and Regional Health and Safety Competitions since 2011 – a fitting tribute to the excellence of this world class facility.

Since the inception of Tiber’s Bursary programme in 2012, many disadvantaged students were provided with an opportunity to start building a successful career path within Tiber Construction. Tiber’s approach to its bursary programme has changed over the years, resulting in a focus on providing a thriving environment with adequate support for graduates to grow within their Construction career paths.
Tiber Bursary Scheme
The Tiber Construction bursary scheme provides financial support to qualifying candidates who wish to study full time in the field of construction. Funding support is provided for tuition, residence and book fees.
Our bursary programme currently supports students in their studies in the fields of Civil Engineering and BSC Construction. Our students attend a minimum of 6 weeks vac/practical work experience per annum before being inducted into the working world of Building & Construction.
Since the inception of our bursary scheme, We've had a few students who have qualified in their respective fields of study, and are now employed full-time by the company.
